Divisions
Today Caparo Wire produces almost 60,000 tonnes per year of high qualilty wire for a wide range of industries. The business consists of three production sites, each of which specialises predominantly in one sector of the wire market.
Two divisions are based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate, within easy access of each other. Fairbright Division is based in West Bromwich where it was relocated and now shares a site with Caparo Drawn Products.

West Bromwich – Fairbright Works
Manufacturers of wire cut to length, annealed mild steel wire and all types of baling wire including cut and looped wire, rewound coils, wire on formers and catch weight coils.

Manufacturers of wire for fasteners, ropes, galvanised auto baling wire, mesh and other industrial and specialised products.

Wrexham Factory 2
Factory 2 is a high volume production plant for direct drawn high carbon wires for the furniture and bedding industries. Exports from this factory exceed 45%of its volume.
